Our Mission
Buganda Development Cultural Association shall focus on promoting the Buganda culture and playing a role in the development of Buganda and Uganda.
Objectives
Buganda Development Cultural Association shall pursue its objectives as a 501 c3 non-profit organization.
The following will be the goals and objectives of the Organization:
To promote the culture, traditions and values of the Baganda;
To promote the well-being and development of Buganda through fundraising efforts.
To stimulate and encourage acquaintance and fellowship amongst Baganda leaving in the Pacific Northwest and other well-wishers of the association;
To develop, through the exchange of information, research and discussion, a better understanding of problems facing our communities both here in the United States and back home in Uganda.
To encourage business and social relationships and interaction;
To promote and foster social, cultural, economic and philanthropic activities and work in conjunction with other organizations that share the same objectives and values as Buganda Development Cultural Association.
PREAMBLE
The community of Baganda and well-wishers that live in the Pacific Northwest;
Recognize that culture is an integral part of human identity and that sustained human progress and development of society are founded on rationality of cultural norms, values and national heritage;
Convinced that the preservation of cultural norms and national heritage requires a conscious effort both individual and communal to guide, strengthen, and unite us in pursuit of liberty and happiness;
Realizing that an organization founded on strong principles with a collective effort from several Ugandans offers an opportunity to feasibly contribute to the development of our communities here in the Pacific Northwest and back home in Buganda.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Buganda Development Association shall pursue its objectives as a non-profit organization and the following will be the goals and objectives of the Organization:

To promote the wellbeing and development of Buganda through fundraising efforts.
To stimulate and encourage acquaintance and fellowship amongst Baganda leaving in the Pacific Northwest and other well-wishers of the association;
To develop, through the exchange of information, research and discussion, a better understanding of problems facing our communities both here in the United States and back home in Uganda.
